Circular Together

‘Every day is Earth day’

In my new collection, in addition to pure clay from Belgium, I try to use circular ceramics. For this I use excavated clay from gardens, pebbles and clay from excavations near rivers, wood ash from various fire pits, washed up oyster shells, remains of polished glass, and granite gravel. Waste that would otherwise have to be disposed of.

By knowing where the raw materials come from and treating them correctly before use, I can ensure that the end products are suitable for tableware. There are a number of people who have helped me collect these raw materials, in addition to using my own waste. I call the collaboration that has arisen 'Circular Together'. In this way we work together towards a more beautiful and cleaner Earth.

I currently have enough raw materials to make new work with. If I am looking for new raw materials and therefore new Circular Together collaborations again in the future, I will let you know here of via the newsletter.
